ODE TO CITRA PALE ALE

Our West Coast style pale ale showcases the tropical juiciness of the Citra hop. Aromas of mango and passionfruit lead into flavours of sweet citrus, with a subtle malt finish. A tribute to one of our favourite hops, this amber coloured beer is as flavourful as it is sessionable.

TERRY - S&O / Powell Collab

This dark mild was inspired by the delicious chocolate and orange treat we all know and love. To achieve the flavour profile we used raw cocoa nibs and fresh orange peel. The result is a beer with a nice chocolate flavour, and aroma and taste of fresh oranges, which then leads into a smooth mouthfeel. We hope you enjoy this beer as much as we enjoyed brewing it. RISING SUN - Jasmine Black Rice & Yuzu Lager

This Jasmine Black Rice Lager with Yuzu Citrus was brewed in collaboration with our dear friend Todd Graham of “Handtaste Ferments”. Originally concocted for a “This Sandwich That Beer” challenge two years ago, we decided to get back together and brew a full size batch. The Jasmine Black Rice adds subtle flower aromas and a clean crisp flavour, while the Yuzu bring forward strong citrus characters reminiscent to lemon, grapefruit, and orange.

LA BELLE - Gin & Wine Barrel Aged Sour Farmhouse Ale

A Wild Farmhouse Ale aged for 18 months in a mix of Gin and Wine Barrels. A pleasant Gin aroma and wild yeast character is complemented by an upfront sourness followed by flavours of bright stone fruit, melon, spice, and oak.

BACK TO BASICS - COLLAB w/ DOAN'S BREWING

Back in 2013 the Doan Brothers helped us brew a batch of Hopdemonium IPA at our old nano-brewery, which coincidentally is now the Doan’s Brewery. Five years later it seemed only fitting to get back together and brew something similar. We went back to basics with this one and brewed a Classic West Coast IPA comprised of pilsner malt, crystal malt, and the traditional 3C hops; Cascade, Centennial, and Chinook. The final beer is one that is hoppy, bitter, citrusy, with a nice dry finish. Enjoy!

NORWEGIAN SUN

A Hazy IPA brewed with pilsner malt and golden naked oats, fermented with Norwegian Voss Kveik yeast, and dry-hopped with a generous dose of El Dorado and Columbus. The yeast provides aromas of peach and subtle spice, while the hops contribute flavours and aromas of tropical fruit, pineapple, mango, stone fruit, and pear.

CASACARA SAISON - POWELL / AGRO ROASTERS COLLAB

Dusty (Agro) and David (Powell) have a daily morning coffee ritual where they sit, relax, and talk for a while before the day starts. One day they decided to collaborate on a beer, moving the ritual into the brewhouse. Neither of them wanted to brew a traditional coffee beer so they came up with the idea of using Cascara (Dried Coffee Cherry). After some discussion they figured brewing a lighter Saison with a slight spice character would showcase the tea like, dried plum, cherry, and tamarind flavours of the Cascara. A blend of a Table Saison brewed with Chamomile and a Super Saison come together to form a unique and complex ale. The Table Saison contributes pleasant floral and spicy qualities with hints of crisp apple and ripe pear from the Chamomile. The Super Saison contributes aromas and flavours of honey, mature pear, ginger, spice, and subtle clove.

FUNKY GOSE MEDINA

A traditional wheat ale originating from Goslar, Germany. Light and refreshing with notes of lemon balm, salt, and pepper which lead into a velvety mouthfeel with back notes of melon and Brett funk.

HOP HASH Double IPA

After hops are processed into pellets, a magical sticky substance is left behind stuck to the walls of the machine. This substance know as “Hop Hash” is scraped off and collected as it’s made up of pure hop lupulin (that dank, aromatic, resiny stuff). We’ve used Idaho 7 hop hash combined with pilsner, vienna, and wheat malt to create one of the dankest of dank Double IPA’s.

FRESH HOPPED WILD IPA

To showcase the fantastic attributes of Amarillo Fresh Hops, we decided to go crazy and dry-hop our beer with 200 pounds. Also, to really get as much out of the hops as possible, we used liquid nitrogen to freeze and crush them, releasing all the lupulin goodness held inside the hop cones. Lastly, we fermented the beer with a wild yeast strain for a little funk and to bring out the citrus and stone fruit character of Amarillo.

ODE TO WALLFLOWER - POWELL / ODD SOCIETY COLLAB

This is a hyper local collaboration between Powell Brewery and Odd Society Spirits. We’ve taken the “Ode to Citra Pale Ale” and aged it in Odd Society’s “Wallflower Gin” barrels to produce a botanically charged, slightly oaked, and incredibly delicious version of the Citra hopped ale.

This Bourbon Barrel Aged Imperial Stout is black as night with aromas of dried stone fruits, shaved chocolate, and bourbon. The rich malt body is complimented by roast and flavours of dark chocolate, vanilla, cherry, dried figs and a subtle hint of molasses.
